Genius Support
This information applies to all students currently enrolled in the summer term of 2024 or earlier. If you are registered for the 2024/2025 academic year, please check our PowerSchool Support page for guidance.
Our Student Information System (SIS), called Genius, is our live, secure student record used by students, parents, guardians, teachers, partner schools and VVS staff. Genius is compliant with the government’s Provincial Approach to Student Information (PASI).
Students, parents/guardians can check grades, access their courses, see where students are at in their course(s) and send messages to teachers. We recommend students access their courses through Genius, however they can also be accessed by going directly to the VVS Moodle website.
ESA partner schools have the ability to manage their own students and track their students’ progress.
Registered students and schools receive their login information by email after they are enrolled. The same login is used for both VVS SIS and Moodle.
