Access to Alberta Education Services

Update August 9, 2018 at 9:09 am:

myPass and PASI are back up and appear to be running as expected. We are processing new registrations, and grades should be syncing with PASI as expected. Please contact us if you have any issues.

Original Post from August 2, 2018:

Due to power outages in downtown Edmonton affecting Alberta Education services, students and schools—including Vista Virtual School—are currently unable to access myPass and PASI.

How does this affect students?

New Students and Current Students Registering for New Courses

We are unable to process registrations until further notice.

You may continue to submit registrations at this time. New registrations will be added to a queue for processing once access to Alberta Education services are restored.

Students Entering Post-Secondary

Grades entered by schools since August 1st are not currently syncing with PASI. This means that there may be a delay getting your grades to post-secondary institutions.

Post-secondary institutions with access to PASI (i.e., post-secondaries in Alberta) should be aware of this issue.

If you have applied to a post-secondary institution outside of Alberta, and have finalized a mark for a VVS course since August 1, please contact us if the post-secondary institution of your choice requires verification of this issue.

When will this be resolved?

We will update this post as more information becomes available.
