INGON Character for Impact Tourism’s History Check App

Impact Tourism is inviting Alberta students Grades 4 to 12 to create an INGON character to be used as an avatar on an exciting new mobile app that promotes tourism and shares Alberta’s history. The INGON character should be based on Alberta experiences, history, culture and animals. The name INGON comes from the multitude of activities available across the province with the suffix ING; camping, fishing, hiking, dining, ziplining, etc.

Nine characters will be selected to be used as avatars on the History Check app, replacing the green person currently used. Each of the nine students, whose INGON is chosen as an avatar will receive a one time Experience Alberta’s History family pass. In addition to the avatar selections, other ING-ONs will be selected as promotional characters.

  • Multiple entries are allowed.
