Pink Shirt Day began in 2007 when a student in Nova Scotia was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school. It has since been recognized annually worldwide as a day to stand against bullying.
Vista Virtual School encourages our staff and students to practice kindness and wear pink to symbolize that you do not tolerate bullying. One way to show your support is by taking a photo in your pink shirt and sharing it on social media:
