WISEST is running a Summer Research Program (SRP) in which students can expect to gain hands-on research experience and increase their knowledge in the following fields: science, engineering, and technology.

Who can apply? WISEST is looking for young women and gender-diverse grade 11 students in Alberta heading into grade 12 next school year to participate in the SRP.

When does the program run? July 4, 2023 to August 16, 2023.

Where is the SRP held? The SRP is held in person at the University of Alberta campus (Edmonton). Note: a residence program is available for out-of-town students.

How do I apply? Interested students should read through the Student Application Checklist and then complete an online application.

The deadline to apply is 11:59PM MST on March 24, 2023!
