Dear VVS Students and Families,
As the calendar turns toward the end of the year, it’s time to step away from the screen, close the textbooks, and enjoy a well-deserved break.
Whether you are halfway through a course or just beginning a new unit, we want to commend you for the dedication, independence, and hard work you’ve shown throughout the first part of the year. Learning in a virtual environment takes a unique kind of discipline, and you should be proud of everything you have accomplished.
️ Important Dates to Remember
To help you plan your time, please keep the following schedule in mind:
Support Staff Availability:
Our support staff will be available until Tuesday, December 23 at noon. It is highly recommended that you submit your questions well ahead of this date to allow for a timely response. Any questions received after noon on Tuesday, December 23, will be answered when our support staff return to work on Monday, January 5, 2026.
Teacher Availability
Teachers are away from December 22 until January 2, 2026. Questions will be addressed when teachers return to work on Monday, January 5, 2026.
- Return to Learning: We will resume regular hours on January 5, 2026.
- System Access: You can still access your courses online. (some exceptions apply)

- Unplug: Take some time away from digital devices to rest your eyes and mind.
- Celebrate: Enjoy the traditions and moments that make this season special for you and your family.
- Reflect: Think about your goals for the upcoming year and what you want to achieve next in your studies.
