Follow the registration instructions below based on whether you are a current, new, or past student. Not sure where to start? Check out our Registrations Flow Chart.

Current Students

Students registered with VVS in the 2024-25 school year can access registration forms through their existing SchoolEngage account.

1. Log-In to SchoolEngage

Use the SchoolEngage account information from your previous registration:

  • Students under 18: The PARENT/GUARDIAN will log into their SchoolEngage account
  • Students 18 and older, or independent: The STUDENT will log into their SchoolEngage account

2. Complete a Registration Form 

Once logged in, click Students, then the student’s name. Choose the appropriate form:

  • Students registering for Semester 2 should complete the Vista Virtual School RETURNING STUDENT SEMESTER 2 Registration form (Grades 10-12) Form
  • Students already enrolled in a Semester 2 course who want to add or switch Semester 2 courses can submit the Vista Virtual School COURSE REQUEST Form

SchoolEngage Login

*Please use the SchoolEngage account for your parent, legal guardian, or student (if 18+ or living independently) from your previous registration. Do not create a new account if one was previously set up for a parent or student. 

New and Past Students

Students who have not yet registered with VVS in the 2024-25 school year must first create a SchoolEngage account to access registration forms. For a step-by-step guide, refer to Getting Started With VVS

1. Create a SchoolEngage Account

A SchoolEngage account holder must be 18 or older, unless the student qualifies as independent (ages 16-17 and does not live with a parent or legal guardian).

  • Students under 18: Enter the PARENT or GUARDIAN name and contact information for the account.
  • Students 18 and older or independent: Enter the STUDENT name and contact information for the account.

2. Activate the Account

After you finish registering, you will receive a confirmation message and an activation email. To verify your account, simply click the link in the email.

3. Add Student

Once logged into SchoolEngage, select Add Student. A SchoolEngage account can have multiple students.

4. Complete a Registration Form

Select the student then choose the appropriate form based on their student type:

  • Non-Primary and Adult Students: Vista Virtual School NEW STUDENT SEMESTER 2 Registration Form (Grades 1-12)
  • International Students: Vista Virtual School NEW INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SEMESTER 2 Registration Form (Grades 1-12)

You will be asked to upload: citizenship documentation, prerequisite course marks (transcripts/report card), and, if applicable, a current instructional support plan (ISP) or medical documentation for accommodations.

5. Check Your Email for Confirmation

You will receive an email after the form is submitted and another once the registration has been processed. Please do not unsubscribe from emails, and check your spam folders just in case.

Create a SchoolEngage Account

*The SchoolEngage account must be created by the student’s parent or legal guardian unless the student is 18+ or independent. Please do not create a new account if one was previously set up for a parent or student.

How do I make a change to my SchoolEngage account? If you require changes to an existing SchoolEngage account, or need a new SchoolEngage account for an existing student, email us at vvsupport@pembinahills.ca. Please do not create another SchoolEngage account if one was previously set up or add a student that already exists.

How do I make a change on my registration form? If you need to make a change to a registration form that you have already submitted, please reach out to us at vvsupport@pembinahills.ca for assistance.

How do I add or change my courses after enrollment? If you want to add courses after your registration form has been approved and processed, log-in to SchoolEngage. Click on your student’s name and complete the Vista Virtual School COURSE REQUEST Form. If you want to switch courses, also fill out the Vista Virtual School COURSE WITHDRAWAL Form.

NOTE: Changes to submitted course and material requests may result in a later course start date and less time to complete the course by the semester deadline.

What is the prerequisite mark for the course I want to take? To confirm that you have completed the necessary prerequisite courses, please review our 2024/2025 Prerequisite Chart. This information is also available in our new 2024/2025 Course Catalogue.

Which documents will I need to upload? The types of documents you should have ready to upload into a registration form are: citizenship documentation, current instructional support plans (ISP), other transcripts/report cards, etc.
