Science, Engineering, and Technology (SET) Conference
Teachers and student services personnel play a key role in supporting young women and gender-diverse students, encouraging them to take advantage of this opportunity to get a head start on acquiring knowledge for making well-informed decisions.
SET Students will:
- Gain insight into different career paths in science, engineering, and technology (SET) and related University of Alberta programs.
- Explore SET through lab tours and activities
- Get access to role models and mentors to learn what it is like to pursue science, engineering, or technology.
- Meet other like minded students
All young women and gender-diverse students in grades 10-12 are welcome at SET.
Conference Registration Details
Saturday, November 22, 2025
9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Sign-in begins at 8:30 AM on the day of the conference)
Online registration opens: Monday, October 6th, 2025
Cost: $75 including lunch
