MyPass Information
myPass is an Alberta Education secure self-service website that allows high school students to:
- Order high school transcripts.
- Register to write or rewrite diploma exams.
- View diploma exam marks
- View and print Detailed Academic Reports (DAR)
- View progress towards a credential (diploma or certificate)

Sign-up requirements:
- An Education Account (current students can follow the instructions below, and former students can contact Alberta Education Student Records)
- The student’s Alberta Student Number (ASN)
- The student’s date of birth
- The student’s personal email address (do not use a school-assigned email address)
Follow these instructions to set up your myPass account:
1. Go to myPass.alberta.ca
2. Click Sign in with Education Account (blue button).
3. Sign in using the student email linked to your Vista Virtual School account:
- Click the Google button if you use Gmail.
- Click the Microsoft button if you use Hotmail, Outlook, or Live.
- Or enter your email addresss and click “I’m new, sign me up!”
4. You will be taken to the Obtain Access to Student Information via myPass page.
- Enter the student information.
- Do not enter a Signup Access Code.
5. Click the Activate Connection button.
