Registration Now Open for 2025/2026
We are accepting full-time registrations for students entering Grades 1–9. Please note that registration closes on September 19, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. MDT.

We are proud to be the school of choice for Alberta families seeking a high-quality, flexible education. Our dedicated teachers provide engaging, asynchronous course content with clear timelines, empowering students to take charge of their learning.

  • Full-time programming (September – June) for Grades 1-9
  • Core Subjects Available: Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies (plus Health in grades 7-9)
  • Grades 1-3 use print-based courses; Grades 4-9 use online courses via Moodle
  • Personalized Learning is available for students requiring extra support
  • Students spend approx. 30 hours/week on schoolwork with support from a parent or guardian.
  • Our courses follow Alberta’s Programs of Study and are reported to parents, guardians, and Alberta Education.

MATERIALS AND FEES

REGISTRATION FEES

There are no tuition or registration fees for primary students.

TEXTBOOK AND MATERIAL FEES

Required materials are loaned to students at no cost, but must be returned at the end of the school year in reusable condition.

Please be advised that we are unable to send you materials for the upcoming school year until you have returned the materials from the previous school year. Not sure what to return? Review the 24-25 material return checklists here. (return checklists will be updated before the end of the current school year)

*NEW* TECHNOLOGY FEE

Starting in the 2025/2026 school year, all students in the Pembina Hills School Division will be charged a technology fee at the time of registration.

Grades 1-6: $20.00

Grades 7-9: $35.00

SHIPPING FEES

Students are required to pick up their materials from the VVS Calgary Campus or pay a flat rate shipping fee of $20 per order to an Alberta address. Students shipping materials outside of Alberta are responsible for the full cost of the shipping fees. Our Shipping Policy provides details on pricing, and is subject to change.
